AIGA|UIUC is a professional graphic design organization and registered student organization. We are an affiliate under the Chicago AIGA chapter, and are comprised of a variety of majors including; graphic design, industrial design, advertising, new media
and more.
Our mission is to get the student group involved in the local design community, create a community of their own and help build leadership skills that will be valuable as they moved into the professional world. We supplement what we learn in the classroom.

firm tour
Each year we visit spend a day touring design firms. In the fall we go to Chicago to firms such as SoulSight and Arc Worldwide, and in the fall we visit local firms.
mini summit
Each spring we host a small scale design conference, bringing in successful designers from nearby cities. Previous years we had Mig Reyes, Abel Sanchez, and
Tyler Edwards.
fundraising
Being a part of fundraising allows members to design items to be sold to the community. This is a great way to show your designs to the world.
portfolio review
In the spring we host a portfolio review for graphic design students in the area, bringing in nearby practicing designers.
